The Shire of Shattered Oak is the Local Branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a non-profit organization devoted to educatioin and research of cultures from the fall of the Roman Empire to the mid Renaissance, roughly 600 to 1600.
The Shire is centered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, but includes many
surrounding cities, towns, and villages.
